A Hunt

Fawnstep and her mate leap onto the rock looking down at the pack resting. The both howl calling the pack to the rock. The pack howls back and they trot to the rock. "It's time we hunt I smelled a big herd of elk!" The pack barks and whines in excitement. They play bow and chase each other around. "No lets go!"

The Slough Creek

This is the Slough Creek (in real life). Here you can swim, fish, hunt, or just relax, but watch out for grizzly bears.

Border Patrol

This is the trail that the Border Patrol follows.

Lone Tree

This tall oak is a nice place to relax.

Training Clearing

This is where the trainers train the pups

Herb Meadow

This is the Herb Meadow. Here you find a variety of herbs, flowers, and butterflys.

Look-Out Point

This is the Look-Out Point. Here you keep watch for loner wolves, and wolves from other packs.

Drinking Stream

This is the drinking stream. Here you can lapp up the crisp, cold water that flows down from the mountains. You can also catch silver salmon.

Hunting Ground

This is the Hunting Ground. Here you can either hunt with the pack or solo. Elk, moose, deer, and other small mammals roam here

This is where the Mothers and Pups sleep.

Beta's Den

This is where the Beta lives

Lesser Wolves Den

This is where the lesser wolves sleep.

Healer's Den

This is the Healer's Den. Here Nanack lives and treats the hurt, sick, or pregnant wolves. They can rest on the mossy rocks and listen to the waterfall

The Alpha's Den

This is Fawnstep and Luke's den. A hollow tree covered in moss and ferns. In side you will find a nest made of long grasses, mosses, ferns, and leaves. Come here to talk to the Alphas.

Welcome to the Golden Rose Pack! Join by following the directions below.

Before you join you must understand how a wolf pack works.

First of all the pack is lead by an Alpha Male and Alpha Female. They are called Alphas, because Alpha is the first letter in the Greek Alphabet. The Alphas are a male and female pair who are mates. They decide when the pack hunts and where. Which animal they hunt and who eats first. They also solve squabbles and organize the packs next move. Normally in a real wolf pack the alphas are the only ones who have pups, but since I want you to have fun every one can (please no mating scenes ;) ). Next comes the Betas.

The beta pair is second in command. Beta is the second letter in the Greek Alphabet.

Here comes the Healer! The healer heals the sick, hurt, and pregnant wolves. Wolves do not have healers in the wild.

The comes the lesser wolves who submit to the alpha and beta. They hunt and mark the territory along with the leaders. Really they are just like warriors in the books.

Mothers are the pregnant female with pups under 6 months

Then comes the trainees. They are pups age six months old and older. The trainees are trained by a select group of wolves. Unlike warriors you don't have a specific pup to train. After they are one season (a year) old they will go on a solo hunt for a final test before being a full member. Please note that wolves in the wild don't train their young in this way.

Now that you know about the pack I will give you the steps to join.

1. Put your name. It can be a warrior name or regular name or name of your own invention make sure it is appropriate. (pups' names end in pup and trainees end in paw)

2. Put your position (healer, beta, lesser wolf, trainee, or pup) If you are wanting to be a beta or healer you must come on often.

3. Now put your description (no unrealistic features like red eyes or powers)

4. Last either post the url of a picture or I will find one that suits you.
