Before you join you must understand how a wolf pack works.
First of all the pack is lead by an Alpha Male and Alpha Female. They are called Alphas, because Alpha is the first letter in the Greek Alphabet. The Alphas are a male and female pair who are mates. They decide when the pack hunts and where. Which animal they hunt and who eats first. They also solve squabbles and organize the packs next move. Normally in a real wolf pack the alphas are the only ones who have pups, but since I want you to have fun every one can (please no mating scenes ;) ). Next comes the Betas.
The beta pair is second in command. Beta is the second letter in the Greek Alphabet.
Here comes the Healer! The healer heals the sick, hurt, and pregnant wolves. Wolves do not have healers in the wild.
The comes the lesser wolves who submit to the alpha and beta. They hunt and mark the territory along with the leaders. Really they are just like warriors in the books.
Mothers are the pregnant female with pups under 6 months
Then comes the trainees. They are pups age six months old and older. The trainees are trained by a select group of wolves. Unlike warriors you don't have a specific pup to train. After they are one season (a year) old they will go on a solo hunt for a final test before being a full member. Please note that wolves in the wild don't train their young in this way.
Now that you know about the pack I will give you the steps to join.
1. Put your name. It can be a warrior name or regular name or name of your own invention make sure it is appropriate. (pups' names end in pup and trainees end in paw)
2. Put your position (healer, beta, lesser wolf, trainee, or pup) If you are wanting to be a beta or healer you must come on often.
3. Now put your description (no unrealistic features like red eyes or powers)
4. Last either post the url of a picture or I will find one that suits you.
When I put you on you are official, welcome to the pack!

ReplyDeletethe url doesnt work
ReplyDeleteYou know there arent 'Lesserwolves' the ranks are:
ReplyDeleteAlpha
Beta
Gama
Omega
There are two alphas, two betas, lots of gamas, and one omega. the alphas are treated like royalty and every wolf is loyal to them, an alpha is never treated anywhere near an omega, and the alpha also is in charge of meeting any strange wolves. The alphas will ALWAYS eat first.
A beta is like a deputy, and only the alphas, and sometimes the betas can mate, there is a male and female beta who will take over as alphas if something happens to them. The betas may either eat with the alphas or after them.
A gama is the second lowest rank, they are not treated well but at least they are not omegas! a gama is not allowed to mate. There can be lots of Gamas. Gamas would eat second to last.
There can only be one Omega, they are treated the worst and are often kicked out of the pack. Omegas ALWAYS eat last.
btw THERE IS ELK AND CARIBU IN YELLOWSTONE TOO!!! IF YOU ARE GOING TO MAKE A REALISTIC PACK THEN GET YOUR FACTS STRAIT!!!
Francis: Beta. a grey male with dark brown eyes. (bold and strong, in need of a mate.)
